Britton's Bakery was established in Stone Harbor, NJ in 1965 by Marie and Ray Britton. The bakery moved to our present location in Wildwood Crest in 1992.  This is now our one and only location. Although, sadly, Ray passed away in 1998, Marie has continued on with the same recipes, high standards and traditions of making our product fresh daily with a true dedication and passion for baking.

 

Britton's has a reputation of producing fresh baked goods including cinnamon (sticky) buns, gourmet donuts, crumb cake, danish, croissants, muffins, French pastry, sfogliatelle, cinnamon coffee rolls (bizmarks), and of course, our Famous Apple Fritters.  In 1982, President Ronald Reagan wrote to tell us how much he and Nancy enjoyed the fritters that one of his staff had delivered to him after vacationing in Stone Harbor. We're a small place with a big taste.  If you see a line, please don't be detered.  We are diligent and do our best to help everyone get what they want in an efficient way to keep you moving along so you can enjoy our baked goods and the rest of your day!  If you know you'll want baked goods in the following days, simply place an order with us while you're in the store and we will have it ready for you when you come to pick up!
